Infrastructure Ontario and Trillium Health Partners have awarded a fixed-price contract of C$13.9B to ED+PCL Healthcare Partners

On July 10, 2025, Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Trillium Health Partners (THP), in collaboration with the Ontario government, have awarded a C$13.9 billion fixed-price contract to ED+PCL Healthcare Partners. This contract covers the design, construction, financing, and maintenance of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children. The project is being executed through a progressive public-private partnership model. The construction is expected to be completed by 2033.
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children is one of the largest healthcare projects in Canadian history.
