Albioma acquires La Granaudiére

On December 24, 2021, Albioma acquired La Granaudiére, a wood pellet production plant based in Québec. The plant is positioned to supply Albiomas Caribbean power plants. The pellets produced are SBP certified from wood waste or low-grade wood from certified sustainably managed forests. The plant is due to be recommissioned in late 2022, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes.

Albioma based in Puteaux, France, is an independent renewable energy producer of biomass, photovoltaics and geothermal.
