Team Value and Skills

Virginia Fletcher is a law clerk in our Litigation Group in the Toronto office. Virginia supports clients and team members by assisting with and managing all phases of litigation, including document collection and production, examinations for discovery, pre-trials, trials and arbitrations, as well as assisting with appeals in the Divisional Court, Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.  Virginia blends technical knowledge with an understanding of litigation to add value for her clients.

Experience

Virginia brings extensive expertise in all aspects of litigation and assists clients and legal professionals on cases across the spectrum of litigation matters, throughout the entire litigation process.

Certifications and Education

Virginia is a Fellow Member with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. She completed her law clerk certification with the Institute of Law Clerks in 1993 and obtained a certificate in E-Discovery Advanced Theory & Practices for Litigation Support (Institute of Law Clerk Fellowship) in 2016. She continues to update her skills through continuing education and is a member of Women in eDiscovery (“WiE”), Toronto Chapter.  She is trained in Relativity and other e-discovery platforms.  Virginia was also a guest speaker at the Institute of Law Clerks Advanced Litigation Law Program in 2016.
