Christopher is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Group and Fintech Group in Toronto. He maintains a general corporate and commercial practice, with experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and advising clients on Canadian regulatory compliance matters. He has experience working with clients within the banking and finance, technology, insurance, and energy sector.

Christopher joined the Business Law Group and the Fintech Group as an associate after completing his articles with the firm. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Christopher was a co-op student with the British Columbia Securities Commission, where he assisted senior counsel in conducting policy research on cutting-edge blockchain and cryptocurrency developments, as well as novel climate-related financial disclosure rules.

Christopher received his LL.B. with honours from the University of Exeter in the UK and a master’s in management with a focus in finance from the University of British Columbia. 

Christopher was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
