Syndicate of lenders' financing of lithium ion battery storage project

On July 2, 2026, National Bank of Canada ("NBC"), as agent, and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Bank of Montreal, Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, and the financial institutions party thereto from time to time, as lenders (the "Lenders"), entered into a credit agreement for the financing of the construction and operation of an approximately 250 megawatt / 1000 megawatt hour capacity lithium ion battery storage project in West Carleton March, Ottawa, Ontario.
McCarthy Tétrault assisted NBC and the syndicate of lenders in the financing, with a team led by Gordon Baird that included Chris Zawadzki, Kristin Dose, Isabelle Deschênes (Financial Services), Paul Galbraith, Mubarik Khan, Ursula Kenkel (Real Property), Jamie Cole, Aleah Lavalley-Lewis, Matthew Schuman (Municipal), Kerri Lui, Gwenyth Wren (Environmental), Matthew Kraemer and Justin Ng (Tax).
