Aleah is a first-year student at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to attending Osgoode, Aleah acquired her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto. She majored in Criminology & Sociolegal Studies, and double-minored in Sociology and Indigenous Studies. Before her time at McCarthy Tétrault, Aleah worked in banking and insurance. She gained a variety of experience in anti-money laundering, customer experience, marketing and claims litigation.  

At Osgoode, Aleah is an active member of the community as an Associate Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, and a first-year representative for the Osgoode Indigenous Students’ Association (OISA). In her upcoming 2L year, Aleah will serve as Resources Manager for OISA, and as the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada Representative for the Black Law Students’ Association at Osgoode. She has also volunteered her time speaking at various events throughout the school year.  

In her free time, Aleah enjoys yoga, going to the gym and trying new restaurants.
