Team Value and Skills
Sharon Kretchmar is a senior securities law clerk in our Business Law Group in Toronto. She specializes in a broad range of securities law related matters including public financing transactions, exempt distributions, continuous and timely disclosure, insider reporting, registration, alternative trading systems, compliance review and mergers and acquisitions. Sharon is a member of the firm’s idea+eXchange Ambassador Team, representing the Toronto office. In addition, Sharon has been an intake coordinator for the firm’s Pro Bono Unaccompanied Minor’s project since its inception.
Experience
Sharon brings extensive experience as a securities law clerk focusing on prospectus filings, TSX listings, transactional work, the coordination of multi-jurisdictional transaction closings, and the management of high volumes of documentation with conflicting deadlines. She regularly assists with public offerings and private placements on both the issuer and dealer side. Sharon has extensive experience with debt offerings by Canadian and foreign issuers, and in dealing with matters related to compliance with the securities legislation
in Canada.
