Sarah Ferguson is an associate in the Business Law Group in Toronto. She maintains a general business law practice advising across a broad range of industries.
Sarah received her JD from Queen's University in 2019. During law school, she was a caseworker in the Queen's Business Law Clinic where she provided pro bono legal services to local entrepreneurs, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate Business Law course at the Smith School of Business and as a Research Assistant developing a business law simulation for Queen’s Intelligent Simulation Project, in partnership with the Ontario Centres of Excellence AdvancedEducation Program. Sarah was actively involved as an executive with the Queen's Law Cancer Society. She completed an exchange semester during her third year of law school at the LLM program at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Prior to law school, Sarah obtained a BASc Chemical Engineering (Biochemical Option) from Queen’s University with First Class Honours. After graduating she worked for two years at Hatch Ltd., a global engineering consultancy firm, focusing on conceptual studies and financial models in the iron and steel industry.
Sarah was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 after summering and articling at the firm. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
