Raye recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Calgary. Throughout her first and second year, Raye volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada on the KB Amicus and Civil Court Duty Counsel projects and Student Legal Assistance as a student caseworker. She also served as an executive for the University of Calgary Technology & Law Association in both years.

Prior to entering law school, Raye completed an MBA specialized in Business Analytics through the University of Fredericton and a BSc Pharmacology at the University of Alberta. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked with the executive team of a health technology start-up company. Following this, Raye worked at a boutique technology and patent law firm in Edmonton.
