Puneet Kohli is an associate in our Real Property, Planning and Projects Groups in Toronto. Puneet’s practice focuses on P3 and infrastructure transactions, and commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, and financing.
Puneet has acted on behalf of a range of clients, including a provincial Crown agency, federal joint project office, hospital authority and multi-national construction consortiums bidding on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Canada. She has experience assisting clients on negotiating and drafting complex commercial and real estate agreements with developers, governmental authorities, municipalities, utilities and telecommunications companies. To date, Puneet’s infrastructure practice has centered on various transit projects across the country.
Prior to joining the firm, Puneet practiced for over 4 years as in-house counsel for a prominent transit agency, and this unique client-side perspective allows her to deliver practical and effective advice for clients with an understanding of their internal realities.
Puneet attended the University of Toronto for undergraduate studies, with a focus on History, English and Socio-cultural Anthropology. She obtained her JD from the University of Western Ontario in 2015 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
