Meg is an associate in our Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. Their practice focuses primarily on infrastructure, construction and public procurement. As a transactional lawyer, Meg provides comprehensive corporate, commercial and regulatory legal services on the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure projects and real estate developments.
Meg has broad industry experience and has advised both project Owners and Contractors on the structure of their corporate arrangements and commercial agreements. They are familiar with various project delivery models from traditional Design-Builds to Progressives, and have sector experience in public transit, healthcare and renewable energy projects.
Alongside their infrastructure, construction and project practice, Meg also maintains a general commercial real estate practice where they assist clients with real property acquisition, disposition and financing.
Prior to law school, Meg worked in business development and customer success at a Series A and Series F SaaS startup. Drawing on these experiences, Meg takes a relational and team-based approach to client service. This enables them to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and communicate straightforward and practical legal advice.
In addition to their practice, Meg is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and provides pro bono legal assistance to clients seeking to change their name and sex designation through the 519 Trans ID Clinic.
