Maneet is a J.D. candidate at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Prior to beginning her legal studies, Maneet obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Ottawa. Maneet is a Registered Nurse and has continued to work as a nurse throughout law school. 

In law school, Maneet developed an interest in advocacy and legal writing. She was a finalist in the Walker Health Law Moot where she and her partner also won Best Factum for the Defendants. Maneet also works with the Legal Writing Academy and, this past year, she was part of the Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellows Program where she led tutorial sessions for first-year law students in their Legal Foundations course. 

Maneet is passionate about mentorship and has mentored several first-year students as they navigate law school. In addition, Maneet is the Co-President of uOttawa's South Asian Law Students' Association and the Co-President of the Health Law Students' Association.

Outside of school and work, Maneet enjoys listening to music, cooking, and finding new coffee shops.
