Grace is an associate in our Vancouver office. Her practice spans general corporate/commercial, financial services, class action and public law disputes. Grace also frequently provides strategic and practical guidance to retail, consumer product and technology companies on a wide range of regulatory and compliance-related issues. 

Grace is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) (CIPP/C) and regularly assists clients with privacy-related matters as well as responses to cybersecurity incidents – including data breaches and ransomware attacks. 

Grace is a member of the firm’s Cyber/Data and Retail and Consumer Market groups and is a frequent contributor to the firm’s TechLex Blog. She was a contributing author of the Cybersecurity Risk Management: A Practical Guide for Businesses as well as the fifth edition of Defending Class Actions in Canada, published by LexisNexis. She was also a contributing author for McCarthy Tétrault’s chapter in the first edition of Artificial Intelligence, Law Over Borders Comparative Guide 2022.

Grace received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University and her Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, Grace served as a law review editor, community outreach coordinator and participated in mooting and advocacy competitions. Following her studies, Grace clerked for the Honourable Justice James Russell at the Federal Court of Canada in Ottawa.

Grace is actively involved in pro bono initiatives, student recruitment and the mentorship of students and junior associates. Grace is also a board member for Downstage, a theatre company dedicated to producing and presenting Canadian theatre that creates meaningful conversation around social issues.

Grace was called to the bar in Ontario and Alberta in 2016 and British Columbia in 2021. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.
