Britney holds a JD from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University.

Prior to attending Queen’s, Britney worked in the legal department of a finance company. In this role, she supported in-house counsel with pursuing creditor rights and remedies.

At Queen’s, Britney completed a placement with the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, where she assisted entrepreneurs, small businesses, and not-for-profit organizations with various business law related matters. Britney also spent a summer working at Queen’s Elder Law Clinic where she assisted clients with basic estate and financial planning matters. In addition, Britney served as an executive member of the First-Generation Student Network (Queen’s Chapter) and volunteered with ProBono Students Canada and McGill Woman in Leadership.

In her spare time, Britney enjoys hiking with her pups and scouting out the most scenic hiking trails.
