Andrew began his post-secondary education at the University of Washington where he rowed for the Huskies before returning to the University of Victoria to complete his political science degree. While at UVic, he rowed for the Vikes and also took on a coaching role at a neighbouring rowing club.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. While studying at TRU, Andrew worked as a research assistant and as a teaching assistant for the first-year Constitutional Law class. He was also part of the competitive moots program, and competed at the Wilson Moot in Toronto.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys skiing and hiking.
