Slate Infrastructure completes financing of the Mersey River Wind Project with Royal Bank of Canada and the Canada Infrastructure Bank

On October 23, 2025, Slate Infrastructure, together with its partners, reached financial close on the 148.5 MW Mersey River Wind Project, one of the largest wind financings in Nova Scotia and the first under the Nova Scotia Renewable to Retail Program.
The project is supported by financing from Royal Bank of Canada and a loan from Canada Infrastructure Bank, and will deliver clean electricity to Nova Scotia customers through 33 turbines. Mersey River wind project is being developed by Roswall Development Inc. in partnership with Slate Infrastructure and its co-investor Hamilton Lane through Slate Infrastructure’s portfolio company, Mersey River Wind Inc.
