RH Marine Group B.V. sells Techsol Marine Inc. to Ocean Group

On January 1, 2019, RH Marine Group B.V., owner of Techsol Marine Inc., announced the sale of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares in Techsol Marine to a Quebec-based affiliate of Ocean Group Inc.

The acquisition of Techsol Marine, a company with established reputation and matched expertise to that of Ocean Group, will allow Ocean Group to continue its expansion plans into Canada and globally. Similarly, Techsol Marine retains throughout the acquisition its name, expertise and qualified workforce, with plans to grow its market shares in Quebec, Canada and the world.

RH Marine Group is a leading global maritime holding entity of a number of renowned maritime companies that include: Radio Holland, Van Berge Henegouwen, Aerius Marine and Royal Dirkzwager. Its services include offering maritime systems integrators, electrical and automation systems, as well as providing solutions for defense, safety and security ships, and yachts.

Techsol Marine is a leading Quebec electrical and electronic marine engineering firm that specializes in the installation and commissioning of automated systems that control and monitor machinery on all types of ships around the world.

Ocean Group is a portfolio company of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (F.T.Q.) that mainly operates in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Alberta and the Caribbean. The company's operations focus on shipbuilding and repair, port towing and transportation, and leasing specialized marine equipment and dredging.
