Zainab Fayyaz is an Associate in our Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. She maintains a general real property practice.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Zainab completed her articles at a prominent international law firm in Hamilton.

Zainab received her dual JD from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. During law school, Zainab volunteered with Michigan Legal Help, was an active member of various student organizations, and was involved in several moot competitions. She also completed a first-year summer externship with Judge Jansen at the Michigan Court of Appeals.

Zainab obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto. While completing her undergraduate and legal studies, Zainab worked in various roles for a national bank.

Zainab was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
