Victoria Tortora is an Associate in the Litigation Group at our Vancouver office. Since joining the firm in 2020, she has developed a broad practice in commercial litigation, with significant experience in arbitration, insolvency disputes, employment law, and class action proceedings. Victoria has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Canada, and regularly represents clients in arbitrations and administrative hearings.

Victoria earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2021, where she received awards for academic excellence and legal writing. During law school, she excelled in moot court competitions, winning the BC Law Schools Moot, and was actively involved in legal education initiatives. She also provided counsel to local start-ups, non-profits, and charities on a variety of legal issues through the Business Law Clinic. In 2024, Victoria furthered her skills by completing an LL.M. at the London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on the intersection of insolvency and financial crime. While in London, she completed a placement at Arbitration Chambers in Middle Temple, training under leading international arbitrators.

Dedicated to pro bono work, Victoria has represented clients in constitutional litigation and has volunteered for many years with Access Pro Bono Society of BC. She also serves as a Board Director for Courthouse Libraries BC, reflecting her deep commitment to the legal community and to advancing access to justice.
