Taylor received her JD (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, Taylor participated in the Gale Moot as well as the Sopinka Cup Moot, where her team placed first at the MacIntyre Cup. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, served as an executive member of the Law Students’ Association, and was a Managing Editor of the Caveat Lector, the student-run periodical at the College of Law. During her studies she received the Judge D. Murray Brown Memorial Prize in Appellate Advocacy and the Honourable Judge William Campbell Award. Before summering with the firm, Taylor worked in the legal department of a large insurance company.
Prior to attending law school, Taylor studied Sociology at the University of Calgary. During her undergraduate studies she worked at a non-profit organization for individuals with disabilities.
In her spare time, Taylor enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the outdoors with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Walter.
