Sarah Chen obtained her JD and HBA from Western Law and Richard Ivey School of Business. Prior to law school, she studied Political Science before entering the dual degree program. Sarah has gained banking, consulting, and legal experience working as an analyst at a financial institution, a consultant at a corporate governance and executive compensation consultancy, and as an in-house summer student at CIBC. 

In law school, she was awarded the Earl Palmer Scholarship for her academic achievement and promise. Sarah was a Western Law Ambassador and was involved in Western’s Pro Bono Students Canada chapter, Business Law Society, and East Asian Law Society Association. In her last year of law school, she studied at Stockholm University’s Faculty of Law in an exchange semester abroad. 

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys weightlifting and spin classes, trying new cafes, and exploring farmers’ markets with her two dogs.
