Meghan was born in Nanjing, China, and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of British Columbia and practiced as a pharmacy manager prior to entering law school.

During her time in law school, Meghan worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Mary Liston in the Administrative Law course. She volunteered as a researcher for the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) and as a Peer Tutor for first-year students at Allard Law. Meghan is the recipient of the Dale Robert Petersen Prize, the Steven Dorfman Memorial Award, and the Borden Ladner Gervais Professional Excellence Award. In her final year at Allard Law, Meghan will be serving as a clinician at the UBC Innocence Project.

In her spare time, Meghan enjoys cooking, vocal jazz, and hiking with loved ones.
