Laura Fernz is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She is building a general litigation practice with a focus on corporate/commercial litigation, professional liability and public law.

Laura received her JD and BCL from McGill University. During her degree, Laura was a Director at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. She also volunteered with the L.E.X. program which offers legal rights workshops for youth in the Montreal area.

Prior to attending law school, Laura attended Memorial University of Newfoundland where she received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy.

Laura was called to the Ontario bar in 2024. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association.
