Jonathan obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. During his time at law school, Jonathan enjoyed serving as a Dayleader and Caseworker for Student Legal Services of Edmonton and volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Center. He also competed in the Davies Corporate/Securities Law Moot and completed a semester at the University of Oslo in Norway.

Prior to law school, Jonathan studied economics at the University of Alberta. During this time Jonathan worked as a tutor for first year economics students and spent his summers working for a commercial window washing company.

In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys playing hockey and participating in fantasy football leagues with friends.
