Jaskirt McDonald is a Law Clerk in the Real Property and Planning Group in the Toronto office. Jaskirt supports clients by assisting in commercial real estate transactions by conducting, reviewing, preparing and reporting diligence searches, drafting title reports and closing documents and registering title documents. She regularly conducts Ministry searches and deals extensively with various Municipalities. Since joining McCarthy Tétrault, Jaskirt has worked on various commercial real estate transactions, including mining projects and portfolio acquisitions.

Experience

Jaskirt began her career as a law clerk in a boutique law firm specializing in real estate and mortgage enforcement. She joined McCarthy Tétrault in 2017 and has since gained experience in title and off title due diligence and drafting documents for acquisitions, depositions and financings.

Certifications and Education

Jaskirt graduated from York University with a degree in Criminology. She has also completed several courses with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, including Real Estate.
