Danielle Douglas is an associate in the firm's Labour and Employment Group who practices in both our Vancouver and Calgary offices and advises clients on British Columbia and Alberta law. She assists employers with a variety of labour and employment issues, including wrongful dismissals, human rights, labour arbitrations, employment standards and workplace policies. She also has experience advising on employment issues arising in merger and acquisitions and works with the firm's corporate group on transactions.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. During law school, Danielle was the Program Coordinator at Pro Bono Students Canada and in 2019 was the recipient of the Pro Bono Law Alberta Outstanding Volunteer Award. At the University of British Columbia, Danielle was the captain of the women's varsity track and field team and competed at the national and international level, including at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Championships.
Danielle is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of British Columbia, Law Society of Alberta, and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers.
