Solving clients' disputes is Alexa's highest priority; being a fierce advocate when litigation is necessary is Alexa's ongoing commitment.

Alexa is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on class actions, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, criminal and quasi-criminal matters. During her articles at the firm, Alexa participated in a complex medical malpractice trial. She was also a team member on the influential solitary confinement class action involving Canadian federal institutions. 

Alexa completed her J.D. at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. An active volunteer throughout her time at law school, Alexa was a student advocate at the Student Advocacy Service and a peer tutor for the Indigenous Black & Mi'kmaq program. As a volunteer at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic, Alexa appeared before the Nova Scotia Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. 

As an undergraduate student at the University of King’s College, Alexa earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Philosophy and Sociology. Committed to social justice initiatives, Alexa worked closely with immigrants, refugees and other disadvantaged groups as the assistant head of a literacy program for new Canadians.

Alexa was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and completed her articles with the firm in 2021.
