Shanjin International Gold (formerly Yintai Gold) acquired Osino Resources Corp. for C$368M
On August 29, 2024, Shanjin International Gold Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Yintai Gold Co., Ltd.) ("Shanjin") successfully acquired all of the outstanding common shares of Osino Resources Corp. (“Osino”) for cash consideration of C$1.90 for each Osino share totalling approximately C$368 million pursuant to a statutory plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia).
Shanjin is a mining company publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and it conducts businesses in the mining and exploration of precious and non-ferrous metal.
McCarthy Tétrault advised Shanjin with a team led by Joyce Lee that includes Xin Gao, Haiya Peng, Sarah Xu (Business), Jason Gudofsky and Gideon Kwinter (Competition).
