Evolution Mining Limited to acquire Battle North Gold Corporation for C$343M

On March 14, 2021, Evolution Mining Limited announced it has entered into a definitive arrangement agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Battle North Gold Corporation at a price of C$2.65 per common share, for total consideration of approximately C$343 million.

Battle North is a Canadian gold mine developer in the Red Lake Gold District based in Ontario, Canada.

Evolution Mining is a mid-tier gold producer based in Sydney, Australia with operations in Australia and Canada including the Red Lake Gold Mine in Ontario, Canada.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP is advising Evolution Mining Limited with a team led by Eva Bellissimo that includes Dan Bornstein, Claire Lehan, Robin Mahood, Patrick Deutscher, Raj Juneja, Emily Leduc Gagne, Patrick Pengelly, Alessandra Valitutti, Deron Waldock, Tony Zhou, Jason Gudofsky and Firuz Rahimi.
