Enbridge Inc. closes C$3B bought deal public equity financing

On September 14, 2026, Enbridge Inc. ("Enbridge") closed a public offering of common shares by a syndicate of underwriters led by RBC Capital Markets and CIBC Capital Markets, and including Scotiabank, BMO Capital Markets, TD Securities Inc., and National Bank of Canada Capital Markets as joint bookrunners. Enbridge issued 44,735,000 common shares inclusive of 5,835,000 common shares issued pursuant to the full exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option. Gross proceeds from the Offering are approximately C$3 billion.
Enbridge is a leading North American energy infrastructure company. Its core businesses include Liquids Pipelines, which consists of pipelines and terminals in Canada and the United States that transport, store and export various grades of crude oil and other liquid hydrocarbons; Gas Transmission, which consists of investments in natural gas pipelines and gathering, processing and storage facilities in Canada and the United States; Gas Distribution and Storage, which consists of natural gas utility operations that serve residential, commercial and industrial customers in Canada and the United States; and Renewable Power Generation, which consists primarily of investments in wind and solar power generation facilities, as well as geothermal assets, in North America and Europe.
