Andrew Irwin Joins McCarthy Tétrault as Partner, Bolstering Our Firm’s Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Capabilities
McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to welcome Andrew Irwin as a Partner in our Business Law Group in Toronto.
Andrew advises clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including corporate formation, growth-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions, and governance. Widely regarded for his strategic judgement and practical, business-focused approach, he has significant experience advising companies and investors across the technology sector, including artificial intelligence and fintech, and regularly works with clients operating in rapidly evolving markets.
Andrew’s arrival further strengthens our Firm’s ability to support founders, growth companies, venture capital investors and strategic acquirers throughout the business lifecycle. He will work closely with lawyers across the Firm, as they help clients navigate every stage of the business lifecycle, from formation and financing through acquisitions and exit transactions.
