All Breaches Must Be Recorded: Prepare for Breach Record Inspections from Federal Privacy Commissioner

At a recent presentation, a staff member of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (“Commissioner”) stated that the Commissioner plans to conduct breach record inspections this summer. On request of the Commissioner, organizations are required to provide copies of their records data breaches relating to personal information.
