Moves Financial Inc. raises seed round financing led by OMERS Ventures IV, LP.

On March 1, 2022, Toronto-based FinTech startup Moves has raised a seed round led by OMERS Ventures. The financing also saw the participation of Panache Ventures and N49P Ventures.

OMERS Ventures is a global, early-stage tech investor helping founders succeed so their businesses profit and real people prosper that operate across Canada, Europe and the United States.

McCarthy Tétrault assisted OMERS with a team led by Shevaun McGrath that includes Prateek Gupta, Sarah Chiavarini (Business), Ana Badour (Fintech), Vincent Yip (Intellectual Property), Kate-McNeill-Keller (Labour and Employment) and Shane D’Souza (Litigation).
