District M Inc. secures a C$12M investment from Investissement Québec and Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (F.T.Q.)

On December 20, 2018, District M Inc. secured a combined investment of C$12 million from Investissement Québec (IQ) and Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (F.T.Q.) by way of a subscription of shares in the share capital of District M. This investment will support advances in artificial intelligence, international business expansion and talent acquisition, particularly within the technology division of the business. The investment will also further solidify District M's position in North America and support its international expansion plans.
This is the second round of funding, which comes through an entry investment of C$9 million from IQ and a new investment of C$3 million from F.T.Q., a financial partner since 2016, bringing the total amount invested over the last two and a half years to $20 million.
Headquartered in Montreal, District M is a digital media company that provides programmatic advertising solutions to advertisers and publishers, connecting them and maximizing today's digital advertising demand. The company has operations in Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, and works with over 2,500 publishers worldwide.
