Olivia grew up in BC’s interior and completed concurrent JD and MBA degrees at the University of Toronto.
At U of T, Olivia contributed legal research and advocacy work with the International Human Rights Program and Toronto’s Tenant Duty Counsel. She was the Vice President of the JD/MBA Association in addition to her role as a Moffat/Wiseman Fellow through which she worked with the Board of Directors for a Toronto women’s shelter on strategic governance initiatives. In addition to coursework and extracurriculars, over the course of her degrees, Olivia also worked as a project manager in the retail industry and for a Vancouver-based family office.
Prior to law school, Olivia worked for two and a half years in project management and corporate consulting in the retail industry. Her major projects included a strategic technology contract negotiation, an initial public offering, and other securities transactions. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours from the Queen’s University in Life Sciences with a minor in English Language and Literature.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys skiing and visiting BC’s beautiful lakes.
