Kate completed her JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Kate obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. She was a member of the Women’s Varsity Hockey team for all four years at Yale. Following graduation, Kate spent a year in Washington, DC working as a paralegal for a boutique healthcare collections firm.
At Queen’s Law, Kate was involved in a variety of committees and extracurricular. She served as an Assistant Coach with the Queen’s Women’s Varsity Hockey team for the 2018-2019 season, helping the team to an OUA playoff birth. She was also a Co-President of the Tortfeasors Rugby Football Club and Co-Chair of the Law Games Committee. In her role as Co-Chair of the Lawlapalooza committee, Kate helped organize a student concert which raised almost $7,000 for charity. She has also served as an Athletic Representative for the Law Student Society. Kate spent the Fall 2019 semester on exchange in Hong Kong.
In her free time, Kate enjoys cheering on Toronto’s sports teams and playing rugby.
