McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to welcome Noëmie Frappier as Counsel in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group in Montréal.

Noëmie is an experienced commercial litigator whose practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, restructuring, shareholder disputes, injunctions, construction law and civil liability.

With experience in both private practice and senior in-house roles, Noëmie brings a practical and strategic perspective to complex disputes. She has advised executive teams, managed litigation files, negotiated commercial agreements and worked closely with external counsel on transactional matters, acquisitions, class actions and employment-related issues.

Her background also includes significant experience in the construction sector. While serving as a lawyer and interim general manager within a civil engineering group, she advised on construction law matters, managed litigation files, appeared before courts, implemented operational policies and negotiated contracts, including payment terms and holdbacks.

“Noëmie is a highly capable commercial litigator whose practice reflects the type of work our clients increasingly require at the intersection of disputes, insolvency and complex commercial relationships,” said Tom Sutton, Partner and Practice Leader of our Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. “Her experience across litigation, restructuring and construction bolsters our ability to support clients navigating technically complex and high‑stakes matters in Québec.”

“Her background in both private practice and in-house roles brings a valuable business perspective to her work,” said Emmanuelle Poupart, Managing Partner of the Québec Region. “Noëmie is well positioned to support clients in managing complex disputes with practical, solutions‑focused advice.”

Noëmie was called to the Québec bar in 2011 and holds an LLB from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She is fluent in French and English.

“I am excited to join McCarthy Tétrault as Counsel and collaborate with colleagues across the Firm to support clients on complex litigation, insolvency and construction-related matters,” said Noëmie. “The Firm’s national platform and integrated approach provide an excellent foundation to continue delivering practical, solutions-focused advice.”
