November 3–10 is Holocaust Education Week. Please join us on Wednesday, November 3rd for a program exploring the rise of modern-day antisemitism.

This program will look at historical and contemporary antisemitism and Holocaust denialism, will explore contemporary hate movements and their impact on the Jewish community, and will consider what lawyers and the legal profession more broadly can do to combat hate.

We will be speaking with human rights lawyer Irwin Cotler, Emeritus Professor of Law at McGill University and Canada’s Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism. Professor Cotler is Canada’s former Minister of Justice and Attorney General, and International Chair of the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights. The session will also include remarks by McCarthy Tétrault’s CEO Dave Leonard, our Chief Inclusion Officer Nikki Gershbain, and Partner Awanish Sinha. We hope you can join us for this important discussion.

Note: This session is available in English only. All instructions and information on how to access the webinar will be forwarded a few days before the event.
