Teranga Gold announces agreement to acquire Gryphon Minerals in all share transaction

On June 16, 2016, Teranga Gold Corporation announced that it had entered into a Scheme Implementation Agreement pursuant to which it would acquire Gryphon Minerals Limited.
Teranga is a Canadian-based gold company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Australian Securities Exchange.
McCarthy Tétrault LLP advised Teranga Gold in negotiations with the Burkina Faso Ministry of Energy and Mines with regard to the acquisition. The McCarthy Tétrault team was led by Pierre Boivin (Mining and M&A).
