Newcrest Red Chris Mining Ltd. acquisition of mineral claims from Hawkeye Gold & Diamond Inc. in exchange for cash and royalty consideration

On May 31, 2022, Newcrest Red Chris Mining Ltd. (“Newcrest”) acquired 100% of Hawkeye Gold & Diamond Inc. (Hawkeye)'s interest in mineral claims located in the BC Golden Triangle for total consideration of C$1.4 million and a concurrent grant of 2% net smelter returns royalty by Newcrest to Hawkeye over the acquired mineral claims.

Newcrest is a gold producer company known for strong technical capabilities in exploration, deep underground block caving and metallurgical processing skills.
