Innergex and Canada Life non-recourse project financing for the 50 MW Ashlu Creek hydro facility

On December 16, 2024, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc., a renewable energy company, completed the financing on a non-recourse project financing with The Canada Life Assurance Company for the 50 MW Ashlu Creek hydro facility.
Innergex, based in Longueuil, Quebec, is an independent renewable power producer which develops, acquires, owns and operates hydroelectric facilities, wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities with operations in Canada, the United States, France, and Chile.
McCarthy Tétrault assisted Innergex with a team led by Richard O'Doherty, Morgan Troke, and Kean Silverthorn that included Craig Shirreff and Albert Chen (Real Property), Quentin Pérès, Matthew Yensen and Declan Sakuls (Business).
