GoviEx Uranium and Republic of Niger to jointly develop the Madaouela Project

On July 19, 2019, GoviEx Uranium Inc. announced that, through its subsidiary GoviEx Niger Holdings Ltd., it has entered into definitive agreements with the Republic of Niger (including a shareholders’ agreement, a memorandum of understanding and the incorporation of an operating company) to jointly develop GoviEx's flagship Madaouela uranium project located in north-central Niger.

GoviEx is a Vancouver-based mineral resource company focused on the exploration and development of uranium properties in Africa. In addition to Niger, it also has projects in Zambia and Mali.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP advised GoviEx with a team led by Pierre Boivin that included Daye Kaba and Laetitia Ouedraogo.
