GIC completes C$237M private placement

On August 16, 2022, GIC Pte Ltd ("GIC") completed a C$237 million private placement of common shares of WSP Global Inc. in connection with the acquisition by WSP Global Inc. of RPS Group plc. The private placement was made in the context of an equity financing by WSP Global Inc. of C$460 million concurrent private placement (including the private placement by GIC) and C$460 million bought deal, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately C$920 million.

GIC, headquartered in Singapore, is a global investment firm with investments in over 40 countries and is the manager of Singapore’s foreign reserves.
