On March 31, 2025, McCarthy Tétrault assisted the Lenders in connection with the project financing in support of the design, construction, financing and maintenance of six schools in Alberta. The Province of Alberta and the Alberta Minister of Education acted as Project Counterparties, EllisDon Capital Inc. and Fengate Capital Management Ltd. acted as Equity Sponsors and EllisDon Infrastructure Alberta acted as borrower.
McCarthy Tétrault assisted the Lenders with a team led by Samantha Cunliffe that included Morgan Troke, Kean Silverthorn, Josh Friedman (Financial Services), Chloe Stone and Grace Simpson (Business).
