British Columbia's Provincial Health Services defends against Stericycle

McCarthy Tétrault acted as counsel to British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority. McCarthy Tétrault successfully defended against Stericycle’s application to the Ontario Superior Court seeking to set aside our client’s selection of a different service provider for critical biomedical waste disposal services following a competitive procurement, and its subsequent appeal to the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Provincial Health Services Authority is a publicly funded health service provider in the province of British Columbia which provides specialized health services through its services and programs.

McCarthy Tétrault advised British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority with a team led by Julie Parla that included Katherine Booth and Andrew Butler (Litigation).
