Scott A Bergen

Scott Bergen is an associate in our Business Law Group in Toronto with a general corporate and securities practice focused on corporate finance, governance and M&A transactions.
Mr. Bergen has experience advising clients, including renewable energy companies, financial services companies and domestic and international oil and gas exploration and petrochemical companies, as well as underwriters and investment dealers, with respect to a wide range of transactions, such as private and public offerings, asset and share transactions, stock exchange listings and corporate reorganizations. He also works with various clients to ensure compliance with general corporate and securities law requirements and stock exchange rules.
Mr. Bergen received his BSc (with distinction) in Mathematics from the University of Calgary in 2008 and his JD from the University of Victoria in 2011. Mr. Bergen was called to the Alberta bar in 2012 and the Ontario bar in 2017.
Mr. Bergen is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
