Sharan received her law degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. During her time in law school, Sharan volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and Alberta Civil Liberties Association, served as an executive for Diversity Law Society, and interned at a boutique criminal law firm. Her final year, she worked as a research assistant, supporting the completion of an upcoming book on corporate governance.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault as an articling student, Sharan has held various positions, such as a program coordinator, property tax clerk at the City of Surrey, and dance instructor.
In her spare time, you can catch Sharan enjoying long walks with her dog Lucky!
