Sebastian studies at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (UBC). During law school, Sebastian worked as a research assistant on NGO and labour involvement in the development of international standards, volunteered for the Legal Education Outreach Program, and won the National Labour Arbitration Moot. Sebastian is also involved in the UBC Law Students’ Society. He is currently the Faculty of Law’s student representative on the UBC Vancouver Senate.
Prior to law school, Sebastian worked in Ottawa as a Policy Advisor and Deputy Director of Parliamentary Affairs for the Minister of Foreign Affairs. His areas of responsibility included Canadian arms export policy, various Canada-US trade issues, Question Period, and issues management. He also worked in operations and parliamentary affairs roles for the Minister of Justice and Attorney General.
Sebastian pursued his undergraduate studies in International Relations at the University of British Columbia.
