Robert Jefferson is a land use planner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. He supports a wide range of private and public sector clients by providing planning advice on development proposals, government policy and regulatory documents. Robert’s multi-disciplinary background in land use planning, project management, policy planning and public engagement equips him with a diverse skill-set to effectively manage a variety of projects throughout the development process and to provide strategic planning advice to clients.
Experience
Robert has extensive experience with the preparation, processing and securing of all types municipal development approval applications for clients. Assuming a project manager role, Robert works with client development teams to liaise with municipal and other government representatives to problem solve and achieve client objectives. His excellent business writing skills, and technical knowledge of municipal land use control documents are an asset to clients and the Real Property & Planning Group.
