Parisa Gerami is an associate in our Real Property and Planning Group in Vancouver. Parisa’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law, including acquisitions and sales, the real estate aspects of corporate and project finance transactions, development projects and leasing. Parisa has particular expertise in representing owners and operators in connection with acquisition and sale of hotel properties.
Highlights of Parisa’s experience include the following:
- Acting for vendors and purchasers in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, including drafting and negotiation of related agreements and due diligence review;
- Acting for landlords and tenants in commercial lease drafting, negotiation and review;
- Acting for borrowers in financing real estate developments, including negotiating finance and security agreements; and
- Acting for hotel owners in connection with the purchase, sale, refinancing and development of hotel and resort properties.
Parisa obtained her BA, double major in History and Political Science from the University of British Columbia in 2010 and her JD from the University of British Columbia in 2014. She was called to the British Columbia bar. Parisa is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
